Chuck Swan Doves?

Anyone try the Dove Feild at Chuck Swan? Was thinking of going there in the AM and then head out in the woods after some squirrels.

Went to the Jefferson Co TWRA field Sat PM from 5:00 to sunset. Got 2 but couldn't find either in some high grass. There were 2 fields there, basically a East and West. I was in the West field. the East field seemed like it was getting more shots.

Went to Chuck Swann friday (no birds), heard 13 shots all day. Seen nine birds, none close enough to shoot at, GOOD LUCK.

im thinking its a low cycle this year in E TN,Low bird #s in loudon county saturday,latter seasons may be terrific,we will have to wait & see,mike243

Dang, wasn't much going there today--lost more birds in Jeff Co than I saw today. Didn't do much better with the "bushytails" either--The scope on my 10/22 wasn't completely sighted in yet--but that's my fault. The "bushytails" were there to be had.

Oh well, a bad day in the field/woods beats a good day at work any day.
