Chocolate cake

Neighbor turned 78 today. Wife made him this special 4 layer chocolate raspberry cake. Best tasting chocolate cake I've ever had!

I used to roam far and wide with my peck baskets looking for blackberry bushes. Then one day I found a small patch of red raspberries. Never having seen or eaten one before, i picked every last red one and continued looking for blackberries. Got home and waited for my Dad to fill me on these red things.

When Dad saw them he picked up 3 or 4 and popped them in his mouth, did not say a word. Then he opened his eyes and said those are good raspberry's, where did you find them? Then he yelled at Mom about the availability of vanilla ice cream. That was my intro to Raspberries.

Raspberries are far better than blackberries.

Stickers are just as bad maybe worse so you come home all scratched up.

Mush them up and then pour over vanilla ice cream. seriously good stuff. My wife hides them in the freezer.

They go so well with chocolate it's very clear God knows his sweets. Get a 75% cocoa chocolate bar and mash a Raspberry on it. So good its probably illegal in New England
