anyone been to the chic lately? Has the frog bite started up yet? trying to get down there, work deer season and a 100 mile drive is hampering my efforts. May try it after the 1st.
 
I can tell you that the smallmouth bite in the Chickamauga Tailwaters has picked up some. :grin:

This past Saturday after the rain. Me and two customers blew em up on the frog. They went nuts between 1:30-3:30 in that South wind. We had a 7.2 and 2-5lbers along with a dozen other good quality fish. Thats the first consistent frog bite I have had this year.

That beng said, this weeks rain and the water coming up washed many mats away. Once things settle back down, I will be interested to see what mats are left
 
Sounds like fun, and it will be interesting the next yr or so to see how the grass does as it seemed to be off some this yr with a considerable amount less mats than last yr? The long cold Winter we had last yr im sure contributed.
