Shot 32 rounds today some ammo left over from last match. Ran three wet patches Barnes CR10 through it and let it soak 5 minutes like I would at a match and dried it out.
not sure exactly how many rounds on it as Daddy shot it some before he passed and I'm not sure how many he put on it ,but I'm gonna make a pretty good guess and say around 1600 rounds. It's starting to show some wear I. The throat but it still looks good the rest the way down
first pic is throat
Second is four inches in
Third is about half way
Fourth is the muzzle

I hope it'll last about three more matches

What cartridge? I really can't discernm much from the pictures but I can't see anything that throws a red flag. My bore scope Is a Lyman, so I guess that's what I'm used to looking at. You'll know for sure when you can't hold tight groups anymore and/or es goes wide. Keep shooting. It may go farther than you think.

That's looks pretty clean. I check mine periodically and it never gets that clean. When you start seeing cracking in the throat, then you'll know to start barrel shopping.

Yeah that's what I was thinking also. The throat looks pretty smooth. In all three pictures, I didn't see any erosion or fire cracking. I've never delved into a 6mm BRA but just guessing, I would expect well over 2000 rounds.

if money was no object I`d retire them from match shooting at about 1500 but since its not i stretch them out far as I can,,you can hold the dot on the UBR targets with a .325 group but your holds have to be perfect when the barrels are new and shooting zeros and .1s its a lot easier to hit,,
Ive got several barrels with 2500-3000 rounds that will still shoot in the low .3s that would be killer praire dog barrels but make it frustrating shooting matches,,
