Put this out in January as loose salt and today i finally went back to look. The spot is set up for ground hunting or a treestand. Hopefully the increased traffic from the salt will have deer travel through there fairly regular, as this spot is a web of trails and the deer seem to go a different way every day.

The deepest is dug about 4" but it's hard dirt as opposed to the soft river dirt from my other salt pits. That's a camcorder sitting on the dirt.

Looking good. They are wearing it out and it will probably be bigger than your truck in a couple more years.

What do you do with the salt? Bury it?

pour it in a pile, the rain soaks it in and deer eat it up
