Is Cheatham open or is there a quota thing going onthis week?

Deer (Archery Hunt) - Sept 26 - Oct. 18. No quota. 1 deer antlered or antlerless. Antler restric- tions apply.
Deer (Young Sportsman Hunt, Non Quota) - Oct. 24 - 25. No antler restrictions.
Deer (Muzzlerloader Hunt) - Two hunts: Oct. 30 - Nov. 1, Nov. 6 - 8. Hunter quota 450. 1 deer antlered or antlerless. Antler restrictions apply.
Deer (Gun Hunt) - Two hunts: Nov. 13-20, Nov. 30 - Dec. 6. Quota 450. 1 deer antlered or antlerless. Antler restrictions apply.
Deer (Gun Hunt, Non-quota) - Dec. 7-Jan. 3. One antlerless deer. Deer counts toward statewide bag.

You can only deer hunt during the times below. I thought you could deer hunt between the dates but you can not. I asked TWRA and I was told no deer hunting between dates. I was squirrel hunting the other day and got a note left on my car window. The regulation is very confusing.

I would think squirrel is ok between quota dates fir deer right?
