Chasing?

Anybody seen any chasing or any signs of the rut trying to kick in? Tons of rubs on my property in Sumner co. Just haven't had the chance to go out and sit. :cry:

Typical of Tn weather this warm front that moved in has gotten everything messed up. We were primed and ready for a mid Nov rut. Now its a crap shoot.

Found one rub on my place in Lawrence county, no scrapes yet.

I hope things get going soon in my area. I'm scheduled to touch down in TN on Mon for 7 days of hunting, and it looks like I'm bringing warm weather with me. This happens every dang time I come to TN to hunt. Of course the day I am scheduled to leave TN is when the next cold front is supposed to roll in. That's par for the course!

I have accepted there's nothing I can do about it except to hunt hard and make the best of it. I was just really hoping to do some cool weather hunting and not have afternoons in the 70's. It is what it is.

I can speak for anywhere but here, but the rut happens the same time every year no matter what the weather is like. The only thing weather or the moon changes is how much I see of it during the day.
