What's the most simultaneous number of chases you've seen at once? I was muzzleloader hunting Kentucky several years back and set up in the edge of the timber over a long, narrow green field. I climbed up in an 8' stand about 3:30 on a sunny afternoon. I was barely seated when a couple of does ran within feet of my stand with a buck in pursuit. Out into the field they went. I guess that was the signal because within minutes 3 or 4 more chases exited the timber into the field at different points. Those were followed by more followed by more. The entire length of the field was covered up with bucks running does and they were still coming out into the field including another chase almost dead under my stand. There were at least 100 deer in this field and at least 25 chases all going on at the same time. Under me, going left to right in front of me, going right to left, to either side of me, across the field, non stop. It was and is the wildest thing I've ever seen deer hunting. I couldn't have dreamed this up any better than it was evolving right in front of me. I took one of those bucks because it was my last day to hunt there. I wish management had shown me this field earlier in my hunt but I don't know if I could have survived several days of that rush.

Never experienced anything like that but I hope I one day do! That would be wild to see lol

Never saw 25 chases at the same time but I did have a doe in Ill. bring 9 bucks under my stand all at the same time! They were posturing and bristled up eyeing each other but never did a fight break out. There were from a 130" 3.5 yr old 9 pt down to just a yearling 4 pt.

On multiple occasions I've had 6-8 bucks come by chasing doe/s. Fast and furious trying to check all these bucks out running under the stand! I had 6 bucks run 3 or 4 does to me and they headed into a small 100' X 50' thicket dead in front of my stand. The largest buck would head into the thicket and the doe would try to squirt out the other side before being headed off by one of the smaller bucks. The big buck would pop back out and chase the smaller buck off while another of the smaller ones tried sneaking in on the other side. Here comes Mr. Big again. They spent 15-20 minutes not 100' in front of my stand doing this. The big buck had to split his time in half trying to get to the doe and at the same time warding off the other bucks. Finally the doe cut out of there and the train moved on. They put on a great show.

I see maybe one chase a year if I'm lucky. I'd never seen a chase before about a dozen years ago and that one consisted of about 5 bucks chasing a doe. I was not even hunting when I saw this but rather was driving to pick up some venison from a processor. I saw 2 bucks just hanging around in a fencerow about 150 yards from the house like cattle about 10:00am. Didn't see the doe until after I stopped the truck to watch the bucks. They didn't pay much attention to me in spite of the fact that I was no more than 50 yards away in the road. When the doe blasted out of the weeds she was hiding in, they took off in hot pursuit. They circled around the pasture a few times chasing her then headed over to the neighbors big field. I went on and took a road that would lead me across that neighbors farm on the way to the processor. Sure enough they were there chasing the doe and had been joined by several other bucks. They were going wild as the doe would run into a thicket then back out into the open field. I stopped and watched them for a while because although I had heard of the "Rut" all my life, this was the 1st time I'd ever seen any indication it really did happen. Since then I see maybe one real chase a year but it is not a guarantee at all. I can't imagine experiencing what some of you guys see.

Had an experience like that when I was 12. 2nd deer I ever shot was a result of that hunt. I think I saw over 40 deer in a 20 acre overgrown field. Emptied 2 magazines from my .243, and saw more white flags than I'll probably ever see in my life. No telling how many bucks I wounded that day, I just kept shooting till one of the bucks dropped. He had 2 holes in him, which doesn't account for the other 8 rounds sent downrange.... exactly the reason I don't let my 13 y/o son hunt by himself yet.

Most bucks I've seen on a single doe was 6 or 7. Good times :)

I'd have a heart attack if I ever saw that many deer in 1 spot lol,a few years ago the week after season ended 5 bucks following a young doe thru a field near oliver springs, spike 4pt 2 6pts and a 8pt bringing up the rear ,may have seen close to 50 deer with most of them bucks years ago at boeing in Oak Ridge while I was making a drop off, lucky to see 25 a year now during hunting season
