Apparently, this guy decided working his favorite scrape was more important than continuing the chase of an unreceptive doe! Just thought the video was funny. Dang, he can stop on a dime!

Wow! He put the brakes on like a cutting horse! And the quality of that video is just amazing...so clear!

I watched one last week do that same thing, except he hit a big red oak that was dropping and stopped like that to eat acorns. He circled the tree about 5 times, stopped and peed on his tarsal glands twice, and then tracked her down and started chasing her again
 
I'm hoping my daughter or BIL gets him. The scrape he is at in the video is about 40 yards from one of our condo stands. And that buck has visited that scrape just before dark several times.
