Thanks everyone for all the recommendations. Wolf Branch Custom Coatings was the closest to me so I am going to go check them out. I've got a new browning xbolt medallion with a blued rifle that I am wanting to get cerakoted. Going to get it cerakoted with a stainless color I think. I think that would look good with the wood stock.

They did a rifle for me in Platinum gray. I chose the color, it's kinda like a dull stainless color. Very happy with how it turned out.

Yeah thats basically what I'm looking to do to this rifle. Something that has the stainless look without being real shiny.

You might consider the color tungsten. I have one rifle in that color and I like it it's a medium dark gray with a metallic look to it.

yeah I know lol I'm just afraid it will rust if I don't do something to it. That and I really like the look of a stainless color paired with a wood stock.

I have looked into this. I really like that color and am considering going with that shade.

I picked up one of those small compressed air sprayers with a small reservoir. Home Depot Carrie's them for like $20. Mix up you cerekote, pour it in the sprayer and apply. Make sure to alcohol swab the part before hand. To "cook" the parts after, I hung them in front of my garage heater (keep it about 6-8 inches away) and rotated it periodically for about an hour then let it air dry for a couple days. Never had a problem with chipping or anything. I've done tons of rifles and parts. All in…under $30 + the cost of the cerekote.

Following up to this thread. I went with Wolf Branch Custom Coatings and the gun turned out great. Went with the color Satin Aluminum and it came out exactly how I was wanting it to. Thanks everyone for the recommendations!

Looks like they did a very good job. Did they do the scope and rings also, or just the gun?
