has anyone on here tried a center point riflescope from wal mart.i read they are distributed by crossman air gun company. i saw a 4-16x40 with rings and flip caps, just wondering if anyone had used one? thanks.dj

Ive got one on a 22 bolt gun. Its a good scope for the money. I researched them some before I bought mine and read good things about them.

Good bargin scope. Recomend not to mount on magnum guns. Seen two shake the reticle loose. One .300 Win. Mag, one on a 7mm Rem Mag.
I have a friend I mounted and boresighted on his son's H&R .243 Handi rifle. Clear and has stayed on target the last two seasons.

scope is clear and boresighted ok. tried to boresight another brand i bought off a guy at work also and its making a trip to ca. foggy and clarity suffered. i thought you only got burned on ebay.lol glad nikon has lifetime warranty.centerpoint is on a 223 so maybe it will hold up. let you know later.

had one on 22 bolt gun great scope for the money and easy to zero.bought another for 30-06 mdl 7400 rem but sold gun before zeroing it so cant say. i have recently taken the 4x16 off the 22 and mounted it on a savage 270 so we will see. i have read reviews online about them holding up well to magnum rounds but im not sure, i guess time will tell if/when i get 7mag as i would definetly buy another from my experiences so far.

Ive got one on a 22 and one on a 30-06. Kinda figured them for place holders. They both have held up for the year that Ive had them. Just bought a Nikon Predator with BDC reticle and it doesnt look as good to me as the center point. Figures. The leupold on my Encore is better than both of the them.
