CBE sniper bow sight question

I bought this bow used and set up , ive spent hours on google trying to see what this knob is on the top of the sight. Cant find anything! Is it a light ? It doesn't do anything. I opened it and it has a spring in it but no batteries if so.

Probably a light that injects the light beam onto the fibers.

It's a light for your pins, suppose to be batteries in it

It's a light. I have a similar CBE sight. Just need some batteries

Gonna get some batteries for it next time i go in Walmart . Anxious to see how it works

It will work great. Almost too great. I've never used them hunting, or never had to. Only because I hunt elk in CO every year and it's not allowed, so I just keep the batteries out. When I get back here, the sights are just too bright for low light conditions. It's personal preference, but those fiber optics will stay lit plenty until it's too dark to shoot, IMO

Yeah heck it seems to glow how it is ! Just was frustrating not knowing what that knob did !
