Ive had 2 people in the last week tell me not to waste my time planting cauliflower and broccoli because the bugs will get them? Are they really that bad and if so what is the solution?

The bacteria gets in the gut of the loopers and makes them sick. When you see little white butterflies flitting about get ready, they will lay eggs soon!
