This is a hunt I won't soon forget. This morning was my first time hunting this property. I rushed in yesterday afternoon and hung my climber stand. My dad was going to still hunt through the area my stand was in so I started the morning somewhere else, with intentions of hunting the stand later. Dogs ran me out of my first spot so I headed on over to my stand. Got there about 9:30 and at 11:30 this thing walked up to 20yds while I was peeing off the side of my stand. I was able to finish and shoot without him knowing I was there. He ran about 100yds and never bled a drop.

Awesome deer congrats. Most of the time muzzleloaders have very little if any bloodtrails in my experience

Lol....what's the odds? Had the same experience myself this morning but I was on the ground getting ready to field dress a doe. Laid my bow down beside her and stepped away to take care of business, she must have been hot because within 5 minutes a 10 came in grunting and stopped at 15', he finally got wind of me and shagged out. Before I could finish an 8 broke through the brush and came in to 10' grunting. Was able to film him with the phone before he winded me, finally got everything zipped back up. Glad you were able to make it work out for you, he's a great looking buck! Well done brother.
