Not much of a small stream wild trout fisherman but I went camping on the North River in tellico. Little different from the tailwaters im used too. Had a blast and caught tons of fish, most on an elk hair caddis. I assume a 12" wild brook is a good one?

If you had had a small cast iron fry pan..a bit of butter..You would have had the best eating ever!! I love Brookies fresh caught...

I'd rather eat the stockers :)

Stocked fish are to mushy up here..where as the Wild ones flesh is nice and firm and a whole lot more tastier!!

Congrats on the brookie..thats definately a very nice one. You can apply for a Tennessee Anglers Recognition Program (TARP) certificate for one that size.
