Caught 50 but was outfished

I caught 50 fish today mostly bluegill and shellcracker. But my buddy caught even more and he caught the big fish of the day.

Here are the ones I kept

And here is his fish. 6 pounds even. Well, it was a bit lighter when it was released. That gizzard shad was inside the bass when it was caught.

I did better than yesterday but still got outfished. At least the big bass wasn't a smallmouth.

no rock bass, all bluegill and shellcracker. And one small largemouth
