Did catoosa have a bad year for the acorn crops
So what's the fastest way to the Genesis camp ground. I usually stop at the pilot to gas up and grab something to eat at Wendy's.Sure is. Really surprised they just have the sign they do and not made it very clear to go around to peavine or 127. It's been closed all summer. I'm sure with the sign they have many tried it. Typical though GW do nothing to help a hunter out.
You'll have to go up to the 317 exit and take 127N to Potato Farm road all the way around. So what's the fastest way to the Genesis camp ground. I usually stop at the pilot to gas up and grab something to eat at Wendy's.
6 have died at the end of my road in 18 months, my buddy's daughter was taking her little sister to school at the end of it last year and got rear ended and broke the 6 year old back and knee. You'll have to go up to the 317 exit and take 127N to Potato Farm road all the way around.
Be careful- the road construction on 127N has a couple death traps built into it.
Keep this quiet, maybe some guys won't find their way over,
lol.
The repairs are reportedly going to take at least one more year.
Amazing isn't it?
Potato farm is very curvy road do not go fast at all on it. Some spots you think the road goes straight but i it don't that's a different road.So what's the fastest way to the Genesis camp ground. I usually stop at the pilot to gas up and grab something to eat at Wendy's.
Yes- there's 2 places where they absolutely failed us if you ask me. There's curves that invite a head-on collision. Plus at night time the lines aren't visible.6 have died at the end of my road in 18 months, my buddy's daughter was taking her little sister to school at the end of it last year and got rear ended and broke the 6 year old back and knee.
I'm within half mile of north. Heard a pick up and dump truck hit head on infront of the school last year.
Everyone be careful on 127.
For years I been leaving my camper from bow until the last quota hunt im drawn for. GW said write my twra#on it, I put it on my propane cover. I've never had an issue leaving it, I've had a guy drive into it while I was there once but I park up towards the check station anymore if i hunt there. To each their own.I've been down potato farm road but only leaving the camp and taking a right and going out that way several miles and back. No more 8 miles to get food and fuel. I'm gonna try to head down Saturday and set up camp maybe hunt a little but mostly to get ready for the quota hunts. I always feel uneasy about leaving my camper. But it seems plenty do from all I've talked to over the years. I'll have to check out the map. Sounds like a messed up road.
