For years I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I'm done. 2000 hunters and 3 deer checked in, pathetic.

Total of 24 showing the last 2 days for this prime example of QDM. 73 buck total for the year and EHD does not seem to be playing a big factor according to last years numbers being 75 bucks at this same time. I found this article on the Web about TN QDM and thought it was interesting, below is snip it out of the report.
"Examples of Quality Deer Management in Tennessee, Catoosa Wildlife Management Area :The TWRA is to be commended for implementing a progressive deer management strategy at Catoosa. It is obvious the antler restriction has been successful in increasing the mature buck harvest." I don't think i'm buying it!

Hmmm between myself and my buddy we saw 12-13 bucks. The shooters never offered a shot though. Wet leaves makes them sneaky bastards in a thicket.

You may be right. We have to remember that the early MZ hunt is something new this year. So I added the totals from the MZ hunt to the rifle hunt totals. (That may not be an accurate comparison.) I remember in years past, the rifle hunt yielding about 100 bucks, of course it was also 4 days long instead of 3 until this year.

Then there's the guys who put in for the hunt and decide to go hunt somewhere a else after they read about everyone's disappointment. I think TWRA should give anybody who doesn't show up for at least one day of their Quota hunt a -1 priority point. Haha.
I would agree with u but I have the nov 16-18th hunt and im not able to go due to me being sick as crap i actually haven't got to hunt at all since Oct 8th
