Catoosa bound again.

We have hunted Catoosa for probably 13 years or so now. It�s been dang difficult and very generous at times with some nice bucks taken. I like the camping and camaraderie just as much. Ive been on many other draw hunts as well at different WMA's over the years as well but this is place is special for some reason. Anyone else drawn on any of the hunts. We camp and hunt the genesis side.

Got the muzzleloader hunt always hunted Genesis. Been hunting about ten years. Finally killed an 8 two years ago.

muzzleloader has been traditionally good. I missed a dang nice 7 point and it was only 20 yards away! I had one pyrodex in my Thompson center when it fired and it sounded like a snap pop. I was pissed to say the least!

I started hunting Catoosa in 2000, but have missed a few years during that time. Always have a great time even though I am probably the only one in my party that has not scored with either a buck or a hog. Had a couple chances at both, but something always went wrong and I did not close the deal. Love the camping experience there and have made alot of new friends in the campgrounds along the way. Can't wait to get back up there this year!

Was drawn for bicolor for the gun and muzzleloader and will be setting camp once I look around some in the coming weeks. I am looking forward to the time in camp and woods. Should be fun times. I figured I would take a weekend to scout it out some and find the closest camping area to the place I plan on doing the most hunting.

Ive hunted the open archery hunt on bicolor and killed a doe and saw soem hogs. That was 8 years ago. We always camp genesis and hunt that general area!

We enjoy the camping also a lot of friends have been made up their hopefully some bucks or hogs this year we got 1st gun 2nd muzzle
