Had to work today. Plan on heading up first thing in the morning. Will probably just sleep in the truck tomorrow night. I know there is a few on here going as well. If your there today good luck. Its going to be wet it looks for all 3 days. Whose there or going?

I went for the first half of the day yesterday, didn't see anything. I'm going to try and go after work tomorrow afternoon.

They checked in 11 yesterday and 11 again today.

Went and pu my camper Monday, not fighting the rain this season. Hopefully the weather will be better next year.

Walked in yesterday morning during grey light. Soft bumped 2 deer ( one was a big body so assuming buck) about 50 yards from the pin I placed from E-scouting. Once there found some good sign and decided to setup for the day. Only seen one doe during sit.
Trying the same area again today. It's thick and really limited on shot distances. I like hunting thick but man it sure would be nice to sit on the side of a ridge and catch a monster chasing a doe.

At least you saw something. I'm hearing that today has been a little slow all around- but that can all change in just a few seconds out there.

I had a great afternoon hunt, tried a new area I'd never hunted before.
Slipping in, I walked up on 7-8 turkeys, all hens.
Then just 10m after I sat down a buck walked in within 15ft of me, then eased off. I was slipping back to the truck at about 445 and saw 4 does.

It's nice to see some game for a change, I should have been hunting here all along.

That is great that you were able to see some activity today. It appeared to be slow. I always like hunting new areas / spots. First sit is always the best sit. Anyways you may have found something you can continue to build upon. The open gun hunt will be here soon.
