Got it today and sent out the check for you. Thanks again a whole lot, this is a great upgrade from the Shakespeare reel that got messed.
One question - is the line on the reels new or used? I bought a spool of 6lb Stren today for the Shimano reel but I don't want to waste line if there is fresh new line already spooled on. I also don't know the # test of the line you have spooled on the reels but I want to give the braid a shot, never used it before.

It is well used and probably 3-4 years old. test it. If ity is oaky, use it (the braided line should be okay but I hate that stuff.), if not, put new on.

all right I will put the new stren on the Shimano and leave the braid on the other reel just to test it out.
