Any body been catfishing thinking about heading to the steam plant in new jonsonville march 7th
 
I caught 9 fish for another 41lbs yesterday morning in about 3 hours. I've gone several times over the past month. This season was the earliest I have ever started. I've got a pretty good grip on them although I'm not catching any monsters yet. I had one trip with a little over an 8 pound average, but mostly I'm averaging around 5 or 6.

Seriously though, I'm fishing the Tennessee River around boulders, shallow holes, ledges, etc. the usual. The bigger fish aren't running as deep as most would expect.
 
alright guys sum up the trip from yesterday. my wife wanted to go and i knew it was a bad idea but done it anyways wrong thing to do lol. drove a hour to the river i put the boat in at new Jonson ville got the truck pulled up and parked and the wife in the boat and all her junk and by George my hooks did not even get wet i was in the boat for a total of 5 min did not even make it to the bridge and she was scared about in tears the water was so rough so i had to turn around and take her back to the truck and go home i was pissed she will not be going back lol but the 2 lady's on the bank was doing pretty good the had about 21 biggest one was around 8 pds
 
Caught 13 more before 10am on Saturday. Total- 45lbs. Spent Sunday mounting a bobcat, so I didn't make it out of the house.
