I have a pond at the house that is around 15 acres and close to 26' deep at the deepest. It is loaded with bass and bream. We put catfish in about 14 years ago and I can not catch one. I have set lines and jugs all over at different depths and have used all kinds of bait and I still haven't caught one. It is my mission to get at least one in the boat but I obviously am doing something wrong, any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Go to the co op and buy a bag of floating fish food... Start feeding them every day or every other day in one area. If they are in there they will come and show theirselves. You only need to put out a couple pounds at a time. It comes in 50 pound bags.
 
I also recommend the fish feeding method. A lot of folks carry their feed in an old metal coffee can that they can rattle the food around in before throwing it in in handfuls. By throwing in batches and rattling the can, they "train" the fish. It usually only takes a few days to get them started on a schedule.

My uncle's pond has catfish that are practically tame at feeding time, because their rule is not to fish during that time.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will get a bag of food and see what happens. We put channel cats in and I have tried chicken liver and breast, mixed up some nasty cheese and a number of other baits. I will let ya know what happens with the feed.
 
Did you put anything out for them to spawn in? If you haven't seen evidence of catfish, likely the ones you put in never spawned or eggs were eaten by the bass and bream as soon as they were put down.
