Anyone else that watches him notice how every time he puts a video out it's pretty much all him taking shots at other youtubers?
I think about 90% of his jabs are towards kayak catfish.
Takes alot away from his channel.
I have bout quit watching him.

I have stopped watching him... he certainly comes off as Jealous... Justin with Kayak Catfish is a much better fisherman and plus catfish dave is basically a downer to watch... hate his attitude

That's like Randy Blaukat he has good bass fishing tips. But now all he talks about is climate change. I'm done with him.
Richard Gene is really good.Been watching him for a few years now. Just wish I could catch crappie half as good as him.

Ruger, those two are real good friends and probably promoting each other. Cayak cat fishing is the best IMO
I thought about this thread yesterday.
I'm wondering about them being friends as without actually saying it Kayak Catfish pretty much said he thinks Catfish Dave is the one that slashed a tire on his car the other day.
The last video Dave put out was like a mirror image of what Kayak has been doing for a few years.

I haven't noticed that, but I've only watched a handful of his videos.

I did find this, which I found to be rather comical.
Lol

Ive never heard him talk about Justin but man he is thin skinned and gets his feelings hurt really easily. He is worried about what everyone else is doing and saying.

There's actually a growing dislike/hatred locally for those YouTubers in general. A lot of people have the impression that "their" spots have been ruined by the YouTube fishermen when they do videos in them and they harbor quite the ill feelings towards them. Justin will even tell you he is shy when boaters approach him...he don't know whether they are fans just wanting to say hello, or if they are non fans that are going to cuss him out or try to fight. He puts on a little for the camera like he's outspoken and don't care what people think...in person he's quiet and timid. Dave is the opposite. Or at least he has been when I've ran into him. You'd think he would be grumpy and a smart alleck....but you'll actually have a hard time getting away from him. He will about talk your ears off. We ran into him one evening as he was pulling up to leave and we were just getting on the water. Talked a while and then had to tell him twice "well, we're gonna head on and get on a spot before dark" lol he just kept talking. I don't know if Dave would slash tires or not but I do know there's a lot of people locally that can't stand either one of them.

After seeing what YouTube as done to the places I hunt in middle TN, I can understand why people would be upset.

Now that is pure Gold that someone slashed his tires.... I was a HUGE fan of his and watched all of his videos... then he put one out the other week where he was flipping the bird at some boaters going by him on the lake... He was all pissed.... Some people in the comments said that they had a right to the lake just like he did and man did he bad mouth them and say all sorts of things about anyone who diagreed with him or his bird flipping at other boaters... Telling some of them to wipe their tears with a rag and send it to them so he could whip his "bottom" with it (not the word he used)... I am not completely sure he was not drunk on line responding to people who said he took it to far with shooting the birds at people but talking the incredible trash he was to them in the comments... It does not surprise me someone would slash his tires... I actually unfollowed him on Youtube and facebook after the video and the comments he made to people and about people... and FWIW, that was one of the milder comments... You go talking trash to people like that and making statements about them, it is not surprising someone did that..

Sadly he has seemed to get a pretty big head lately... I have unfollowed him on everything

This thread reminds me of my daughter's 9th grade year.

Wth people? I thought this was about a guy showing us how to catch catfish!

Smh. I'm glad I don't pay such close attention to everyone's feelings that I read into everything in such a way.

I met Catfish Dave at the Catfish Conference a few years ago, and I wasn't impressed, also met Steve Douglas he's pretty cool!!

Richard gene the fishing machine is the man. A very good fella. That's very appreciative of life and his YouTube followers. He's got lots of great tricks that actually work. He's a common man use to be a carpenter and built houses. He's a wild man no doubt. But a guy I'd love to fish with.

I have learned alot watching him.
He is by far my favorite to watch.

Not defending him at ALL, but I have noticed everything looks alot farther away than it actually is with his cameras.
When he casts, off the bank, it looks like he throws that thing 100 yards. LOL

Justin sticks some big cats and he is good at it. Everyone has their days. Just because they are on youtube doesnt mean they are any different than the rest of us. I know ive felt like flipping some boats off as well. One thing i do when i had my bass boat and still do in my aluminum ranger is yield to kayakers and try to get around them as easy as possible without disturbing them. I can almost bet the wake boats never think twice regardless of whats around, I wish everyone of those would sink. The wake boats out there today are far beyond the old ski nautiques and mastercrafts of old.

Ive had several actually roll wake up over my z20 bass boat as well as the new boat. Thats ridiculous.

the problem with a lot of kayakers is that you cant see them very well until your right up on them. an orange flag on a whip would do wonders.

When I was raised I was taught too respect other boaters …
We always slowed down basically too no wake when passing someone picking crappie out of a tree top or fishing along the shoreline..
And we took a wide berth around them if possible, but still slowed down.

Of course back then most outboards were 20 hp or less.
With the invention of higher hp motors and the "bass boat" things changed..

Then there was the wave runners… some of those idiots wanted too ski between you and the bank or try and spray water your direction.🤬

I'm not a bass fisherman, and don't have against them.. but I do carry a rod tied with a big ole crank bait just too see peoples reactions.🤣🤬

I heard you could catch crappie on them.😎
