Carrying Cocked and Locked

I'm sure this question has been tossed around a few times.

On 1 or 2 occasions while wearing my Ultra Carry 2 cocked and locked in my Crossbreed holster, I have found my thumb safety coming off during movement. I know that there are other safety mechanisms in play but this bothers me. Anyone know of a 1911 IWB holster that protects the hammer, thus an extra layer of safety?

Is there anyway you can modify your current holster? I carry my FNX-9 cocked and locked with no issues. Controls similar to a 1911.

I'm surprised that would happen with a kydex front but I suppose the leather could move just right to allow it. I carried a Kimber pro-carry for a while in a cheap galco and never had that happen. I wonder if the kydex was not formed properly on your crossbreed and it is putting pressure on the safety? I would call crossbreed and ask them to take a look at it.

My 1911 does the same in my crossbreed. I don't worry about it. It can't go off
