was looking at the carlsons longbeard choke tubes and noticed the wide range of restrictions dependeing on the thread pattern. Mossberg is a .683 ,invector plus and crio are .665, remchoke and invector are .660,yet a bennelli mobile is a .650. Why such a difference?

Part of the reason is some barrels are over bored like Mossberg and invector plus. Benelli Crio should be the same diameter as regular Benelli chokes, I guess Carlson's decided one is better for each one

I don't know why crio barrels have higher constructions then benelli Mobil cause the barrel diameter is the same. 665 for crio barrels generally suck and 650-660 shoot much better.

Internal barrel diameters. Mossberg 835 and 935 are actually 10 ga bores, Browning invector Plus and Winchester are backbored +.010" over Remingtons .729", and Benelli are chrome lined and are typically .005" tighter bore than the std 12 gauge .729". So there are reasons!!
