Last night we shot a doe and it ran off real slow and its tail was down . we didnt find any blood last night and we came back this morning and found the arrow it was covered in blood but there was no blood trail at all. it was a 50-60 yards when he shot it but it made a real load thwack sound like a bone breaking or somethin. what would make this happen?

ok. i was thinking the sound could have been the broadhead opening. pass through should have a blood trail. hmmm don't know what to tell you. was this in roane county?

I lost one like this in roane county last year stik probably remembers ( i was going by jhnter at the time) biggedt buck i ever shot had a trail about 2 ft wide with xchunks of lung laying everywhere, anyway it ran over to bext property and but do believe that property owner got the deer he was more than willing to help m look but got outta tgere real quick when i noticed his fourwheeler was parked right next to tge last remaining huge pool of blood, anyway sry for hijacking wish i would have seen this yesterday would have been more than willing to lend a hand in trying to find her.
