Won't be going this year. Just wonder if someone else is.

I camped on an island in Alexandria bay on Rainy lake last year but if someone wants a great camp to go to on Rainy lake, Camp Narrows is great. Tom Pearson is a great host and has a fantastic camp.

I am going to Africa with a few guys. South Africa to hunt, only looking to kill a zebra, a kudu, a gemsbok and the one animal I have always wanted to hunt, a warthog. From what I understand, no tall fences of any kind. A "hunting experience" for sure.
 
I thought I was the only one who really wanted to kill a warthog... If I ever make it over there, that is the main thing I would like to kill... I hope you have a fantastic trip

Nothing like Canada. Last year for a couple days I drove up to Kenora and fished lake of the Woods and then drove to Dryden and stopped at several lakes and fished on the way there. Then I went to Gussi, Essoc and the lower Manitou and fished a couple days. Nothing but incredible and never saw another boat or fisherman on any of those lakes and of course caught piles of smallmouth. Already missing not being able to go to Canada this year.
 
Make sure you get all of your shots in plenty of time to get full effect, Knew a man who ended up sick for a good amount of time after going back in the 60's.

I have great memories of LOTW.
Fished out of Morson, Ontario
Went there my 1st time in 1987 before GPS which was wild. You know how easy it is to get lost. Plus I never lost a lower unit🤣
