Can someone tell me about duck hunting?

So...i was looking at TWRA online maps a second ago...and it looks like i am fairly close to areas where there is lots of opportunities for duck hunting.
I have never duck hunted, but im sure it would be lots of fun. I like to dove hunt.

When does seasons start and end? do you HAVE to have a boat and dog. Can someone fill me in? I am in the middle TN / Nashville area.

Simple answers..

Season opens Saturday after Thanksgiving. By no means do your have to have a boat and dog, although the boat will open up a lot more access.

Like most other things you Caint learn it all over night. The best advice I know to give is find a friend and tag along. I'll give a warning tho........ duck hunting is HIGHLY HIGHLY ADDICTIVE.
