It can, but really isn`t worth the trouble. The feed rails are the problem, and have a different length and width for the WSM`s.

use a magnum long action and set it up to seat the base of the bullet to the shoulder neck junction and it will be a screamer..

I would love a 6.5 WSM on a RUM action
