Camping Sleeping Pad

Anybody have a good recommendation for a good quality sleeping bag pad for camping? I look forward to your reply's, thanks.

Doesn't big Agnes have a lifetime warranty on theirs? I've never used accordion style but some are putting those under an inflatable..

I'm not sure about the Big Agnes warranty, I'll have to research that. Thanks for letting me know.
I have looked at REI and the reviews were not that good. I'm looking for someone who has had a good experience with a product they use.

I have two REI pads which are great, but noisy. I have one Nemo that is a great pad, but still generates some noise and two therma-rest pads. The TR pads are quiet, but not as thick, so they are not as comfy as the others and do not pack as small as the others.

I use a small thermarest if space/packability is a concern. If that's not a concern (ie. Can drive right up to camp) then personally I love a 6 inch memory foam roll up.

I have never found a pad that I would call comfortable. Most pads are just to keep the chill off of you and prevent moisture from wicking up onto your sleeping bag or blankets. The military has had a few models, the foam rollup, and the inflatable and self inflating kind, all worked fine for their intended purpose, but of the three models I liked the one you had to inflate yourself, it was thicker and would get you higher off the ground. The air cells would make a decent insulator but I always found that they all collect dew, so a bivy cover for the sleeping bag is a must IMO. I now use an inflatable mattress which works great. But I don't pack it in, I drive to where I am camping and setup in the back of my truck.
