Looks awesome Poser. A few steps above my last camp food... I was fishing Normandy by myself a few weeks ago, and camped out on shore. I caught crawdads in the rocks and threw them in a big pot of shrimp flavored Ramen noodles to add more flavor.... :D

I will hopefully be cooking tenderloin during one of my quota hunts this fall, since I will try and camp out if work schedule allows.

Just wondering if there is anything you can do to cut the bitter taste of kale? Aside from not eating it. Me and bitter just do not get along.

poser is your skillet a lodge? i've got one almost exactly the same. do you ever make biscuits over the fire in the dutch oven?

Some greens take on a bitter taste when they are old (eating kale in July will make you think it's disgusting).

There are some other greens that are generally less mild tasting, too. Swiss chard, for example, was one that I never really cared for. I'm a pretty big fan of kale and spinach, though.

Good eats! I need to work up a camping trip with the family this fall. We haven't been having enough adventures lately...
