Ive always had the notion that camo is produced to fool hunters more than deer, deer dont have money to buy camo with, but I love me some camo.
 
I've been thinking about wearing more plaid. I need a new warm weather shirt and I can't find what I want in camo, which is cotton, button up with a collar. everything cotton seems to be a pull over tee. I like the collar for when I carry something with a shoulder strap over my head the strap doesn't rub my neck.

I've been thinking of finding a thin plaid shirt, just haven't looked very hard for it. color wise I'm thinking mostly brown or grey based.

I've got some plaid shirts I bought from Cabelas years ago( that still fit )

They are heavy flannel in brown/ light brown and red/ black.

I where them under my bibs and wear a coat, or usually I wear them under insulated coveralls.

I put a throw away hand warmer in the left pocket of the shirt and one rolled in the neck of my face mask.

A warmer in the insoles in each boot and I'm good to go.

If it gets too cold then.....I'll go get in the shootin' house and turn on the heater. LOL

Wool and thick flannel are the way to go.
 
I picked up some heavy flannel shirts from cabelas. I just like the look better than modern camo. Though I have plenty of it
