Camo Dipping?

Anyone care to offer a recommendation on camo dipping a shotgun in SW TN?

Was considering but have read some horror stories (and seen some really crappy DIY work). Haven't ruled it out though, just evaluating my options.

I know what you mean - I guess I get scared off by what some of these places want to charge and figure I'd rather screw it up myself for cheap but if it turns out good - I get to brag, lol.

I have never used this place, but I have seen their business cards in the Avery store in Memphis. Their website looks pretty nice as well as do some of the pics they use for advertisement, but that is about as much as I know about them.

Over on Outdoor talk there is a guy called Modeclan...his name is Rodney Mode.He does a lot of dipping for the homebrew people .Jim ..Fireman Jim uses him alot .He does good work but I do not know if he has ever done anything other then a camera box

Flip does good work. I've watched him do a couple stocks and some misc. pieces and they all turned out flawless. Pretty interesting process.

I didn't know this but apparently one has to have a FFL to dip the entire gun (vs just stock and forearm). Not all of the places I've checked into can dip the whole gun...keep that in mind if you plan to dip in the future.
