What camcorders are y'all using to film your hunts? I'm looking to start filming mine this year and would like to find a good-quality camcorder that won't break the bank. I plan to slowly upgrade my equipment over time, but for now I mainly want something with clear video and a decent zoom. Extreme zoom isn't a major priority since most of my hunting is in the mountains.

Good quality and not breaking the bank doesn't go together in filming unless you buy used. I started out with a 1080p canon tha was too grainy. I upgraded to a Sony ax53 4k. $1,000 but way better. You can find them used around 600 and up now. I actually sold mine for $400 and upgraded to a mirrorless camera. IMO Sony ax43, Sony ax53, canon G series and Panasonic would be my recommendation's.

Got a budget canon vixia hf w10 a while back for around $300 its been a good camera but says they are discontinued now

Thanks! Went on eBay looking for that one and found a Canon VIXIA HF S30 for $170 couldn't pass that price up.
