Went and checked our camera over a new salt block we put out 5 weeks ago. Tons of pictures but nothing special, a few bucks with growth nearing their ears and some pregnant does. This boy is so beyond obsessed with deer it ain't funny.

Thats the very first signs of an addiction right there !!!! Standing over a salt block dreaming of big bucks !! Hope the fire grows into an inferno and he learns that our God is a good God and becomes a steward of his creatures!

June is when I identify the truly mature bucks. They have well developed, mostly grown racks by then while most bucks are still blobby nubs.
