took this boy saturday morning that has only been a few times. we only heard 3 different toms gobbling. all of which were across the holler on someone else. at 8:30 i figured we had nothing to lose so we started to get aggressive with our calling. he was using a slate and i had a slate and my mouth call. we just started making a bunch of fighting purrs and one of the 3 decided to fly across the holler. he landed about 100yds away and come right at us. the boy (15 years old) let him have it at 32 steps.
