I think he does... Will have to sit a year but will be a good get. Fromm heading to the NFL.

UGA is screwed on oline and qb.

Kirby seat is gonna heat up quick IMO if he doesn't do well this year, will all the talent he has recruited and let get away.

I doubt it after the way he was treated.

I agree. I think this makes 4 of 5 o-line starters.

Yep... And Swift leaving. Cager is gone. But Carson Beck will be a freshman behind Stetson Bennett.

Welcome home Mays.

I read where the Mays are Suing UGA for an incident that occurred on campus? I wonder if UGA signs off to let him play as part of that lawsuit? Just an idea.

Yeah he will have to set a year true.

That still would still give the vols three big time 5* linemen going into 2021. With a few more good 4*guys like little brother cooper.

For sure is a upgrade. But as a business decision, I think he would have been a top 10-15 pick in next years draft. Big Gamble imo

Could possible get a waiver due to the lawsuit. Welcome home Cade!

WANYA MORRIS, DARNELL WRIGHT, CADE MAYS

3 big time 5* players all on the line all with 20+ games experience upperclassmen.

That's what guys like Harrison bailey, and Eric gray could possibly be standing behind in 2021

If he does get to play in 2020, Morris, Wright, Mays, Kennedy would be pretty nasty.

We will find out tomorrow if T Smith is in the mix next year.

Maybe but doubt that the NCAA grants that one.

I think he has to have some indicator that he may get the waiver or he would never transfer. I agree, if he doesn't think he gets a waiver, from a business decision, why sit out a year to play at a school that acted awful towards you when you chose UGA, risk getting hurt, and risk giving up NFL draft stock a year earlier. Maybe UGA has lot more negative going on than people realize.

I think Trey Smith goes to the NFL, but if he stays and Mays is eligible... wow at that O-line.

Suing the school you just left after signing with is not exactly making a great first impression in the SEC . Don't know about you .

So apparently Mays wanted to keep things low-key and just transfer, but Kirby got pissed and entered Mays into the portal himself.

He even waited til the day that Fromm made his announcement so it could be kept hush. He enrolled at Tennessee, then told Kirby.

I've gotta admit that this one is a shocker. Cade started at numerous positions last season and would have been an anchor on a o-line that still should be very good. UGA fans loved him, so I have no idea where people are coming up with the rumors about him being treated poorly. And the finger incident happened before Cade enrolled, from what I've read, so I'm curious how that ties into this.

It will hurt, no doubt, but if UGA has talent and depth anywhere on offense it is on the o-line, so they should be fine.

Now, Fromm leaving is pretty devastating due to the lack of quality depth at that position. There is a redshirt freshman that had a brain tumor and may never play again, a former walkon who is decent as a backup or scout teamer, and an early-enrollee that just walked on campus this week. I foresee another grad-transfer coming in to compete for the starting role there.

UGA will be fine at all other positions, if not a little young, on offense, and the D ought to be stellar again (if the O can keep them off of the field), but it will definitely be an interesting off-season trying to keep up with how the coaching staff will sort this out and earn their money.

Go DAWGS!
