Buying land

New to Tennessee. Currently live in Chattanooga. My wife and I plan to purchase hunting land in the near future, and was just wondering if anyone had recommendations on certain counties or areas that would present the best areas to hunt or areas you would look if you were in the market for land. I even considered purchasing land in Kentucky and making the trip further north to hunt. Just trying to get some ideas. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

If you are looking for a good amount of land on a budget I would look into Wayne, Lewis, or Perry counties. Plenty deer in those areas and properties are very affordable. You can easily find good deer hunting properties under $1000/ acre and sometimes considerably less in those areas.
