Anyone else seeing an abundance of button bucks and twins this year ?
This morning I had 18 deer walk by me, 3 being racked bucks, 7 being mature doe and the rest (to the best of my knowledge) using binos and 70 yards being the farthest were buttons. I have seen more twin buttons this year than in the past it seems. Kiddos put a hurting on them juvy weekend though :( both of my friends kids killed twin buttons. Just curious of everyone else's observations ?

Note: I was wanting a tender yungin for dinner tonight :)

It's hard for me to tell the difference from a distance. I was in AR with a friend who had a deer come up to their house. It had little fluffs above each eye that looked like it could be a button, but I felt of it's head. There were no buttons. It was a doe.

P.S. On another note, it loves to eat dog food. LOL

Killed a momma doe with twin button bucks Sunday. Seen the two buttons hanging out in the field where I shot the mom today. I'm sure they will stay around close.

Their breakfast consisted of dry soybeans, wheat, oats, winter peas, chickory, clover and then persimmons for desert before they bounced back in the woods.
