The long holiday seemed to fly by with all the work and fun I had! Starting off on Friday afternoon I finished planting a 2 acre plot of Eagle soybeans and then spread 500lbs of fertilizer to get them jumping!
After I got back to the shop, I regrouped so I could head over to Richmanbbq's place Saturday morning.
I had a great time meeting Richard and his wife and let me tell you he has an awesome place!
We chiseled his plots and disced them till I lost the nut off the axle on my disc. So we went ahead and broadcasted his Eagle bean sand he packed them with his ATV.
I think we talked deer and hunting about as much as we worked! It was a great time!
Then on Sunday I headed down to Lewis county and met with TNDeer member Tin Star and his family. We walked his property and boy is it nice! It has one of the prettiest ponds that you will ever see. It was a great visit and I look foward to getting to work on the property! I felt bad about all the ticks and chiggers that I left with! I think last count was 6 ticks and the chiggers are Still developing!
What a great weekend!
