Perfect morning till wind shifted. Deer were coming towards me from the fields and had made it into the woods about 60 yds and the wind shifted from tops of the ridges and they blew, stomped for nearly 30 mins and it was over.

I know how you feel. Had the same thing happen to me last Saturday. Once it shifted, I moved spots, and then the activity seemed to pick up after the wind shift

Happened to me yesterday with no wind at all. After all the deer ran off, the wid started blowing and it would have been in my favor. This morning, the deer were there, but didn't come into range. Maybe had something to do with the fact that the wind was blowing opposite of what was forecasted, as usual.
