Was wondering what order to bushhog/spray. Should i bushhog and spray asap like this weekend and then disc/ plant in two weeks? Or spray first and then bushhog a day later or week later? Im limited to weekends primarily and sometimes just sundays. Thanks

Bushhog it first, then spray it.Wait a couple weeks and disk it in.Would be better if you could wait a week between bushhoging it and spraying.I am assuming you are going to spray with gly4.

Sounds like everyone likes to cut, wait, then spray, then wait to work it up, I will try to do it in this order this year and see how it goes, thanks!

If you spray then cut immediately, you will cut the herbicide off before it has time to work all the way through the plant. I would prefer to spray first, but in your other thread you said the stuff was 3' tall. It will need a little longer for that much material to soften up where you can do something with it. If you can control weeds through the summer next year, you won't have as much work to do at planting time.

That's the best, but I've cut and sprayed heavy right after and it's worked... Depends how much time and travel you can devote to it

We bushhog then immediately spray and then plant 2 weeks later. just got ours in this past Friday evening. With a little rain we should be set
