Bushhog 286 for sale; see pics for model and serial number tag. This 286 has the genuine Bushhog 110 hp gearbox, in good shape, see exception below. Seals are good, has never leaked. PTO shaft has the slip clutch vs. shear bolt. Blades are relatively new. This 286 has been modified to fit a Agri-Supply Cat I Quick Hitch; QH not required, it will still fit any tractor with a Cat I 3ph. This Bushhog weighs around 1100 lbs, so it is a very heavy duty rotary cutter.
Bushhog is in good shape except for the output shaft which has broken from a previous repair; requiring the replacement of the Output shaft (part # 71257, about $235 at Messicks). You'll also need to remove and replace the gearing hub on the blade bar – new gear hub and output shaft nut provided, see pics.
