Thinking about hiring out some mowing. We have been struggling with a Swisher mower putting out plots but now I'm wanting to add a few more acres in wheat and oats. My question is what's it cost to get 5-6 acres mowed. Clean field. It was in beans last year so there are no hazards.

For a clean field ready to plant 5-6 acres, I charge around 800-1100 depends on how long it takes. This would include cutting, spraying and disking/tilling

You will be hard pressed to find anybody to unload a tractor and bush hog for less than 200. Like turf said it is usually around 50-60 an acre or $10 per foot of bush hog an hour with a minimum charge.

Guy I used around Lewisburg had a 12' bushhog ( I believe) and charged $60 per hour. It was extremely grown up and hilly and he did about 40 acres (guessing) in 10 hours.
