I have 2 untapped 20 guages. 870 and a SX4. Was thinking about going the speedbead route but it looks like it's been discontinued. I don't want to tap and don't want anything affixed to the rib. Recommendations??

They did discontinue some models but they very much still produce them. IF they did for those 2 guns before you may still be able to find old stock or used ones out there.
As far as other options for a red dot mount you dont really have much. For the 870 there is a mount that wraps the reciever and allows for mounting on top (im sure some 870 guys can pipe in on that option)
There just isnt really other options to properly mount one securely without drilling them or getting a meadow creek rib mount.
