Burger King's "Memphis Style" BBQ Sandwich

One of the guys on my BBQ team goes fast-food slumming every once in a while, and he explained that the white stuff was "slaw flavored" sauce, and you get the crunch from the onion.

I think the City of Memphis ought to sue BK for defamation of character by using the city's name for that gut bomb.

It still amazes me to see people, (especially my inlaws) turn their nose up at venison or wild turkey, but they will gobble up something like that heap of crap.

Talk about hormone pumped. I bought a half pork loin from WalMart yesterday.I cut it into 1 inch steaks and grilled them. They were tender and tasted pretty good, but there was not one bit of grain in the meat. It looked like some of that compressed crap. I guess if you want quality pork then you have to raise and slaughter your own pig.

Slaw "flavored" sauce? Gag. and what Memphis BBQ establishment puts rings of onions of the sandwich?

Apparently, fast food joints that offer slaw flavored sauce, and have to rely on onion for crunch :D

Dude, you gotta quit buying meat from Wally world.

I had the notion to try the clam chowder at Quiznos once....It sounded good at the time.

The guy suggested I try it first, which I thought to be a strange request, but I gave in. Good thing he did, because that was the most God-awful crap I've ever eaten. It tasted like they dumped half a bottle of vinegar in it.

The guy told me, "Yeah, that's about what most people say. We figured it costs us less money to let people try it first, than to sell it to them and give a refund when they complain it tastes like crap."
