150 gr. bullet. Does the 150 grain mean the powder or bullet weight. I made the mistake of buying 130 gr. 270 bullet. I normally shoot 150 gr. Will this make a big difference when shooting a deer?
This is the bullet weight. Yes, it will make a difference, and most likely a significant one. Every time you switch loads the best thing to do is sight in again.
At 0-25, you may not see much difference. If your zero was a 100 or 200 yards differences will likely become more dramatic.
All things being equal, the 130s will most likely be a little flatter shooters 0-100 and recoil a tad less. (but that ignores multiple other factors which could be more pronounced such as bullet shape and power behind it). You just need to try them and see.
