Hey all i have a T/C impact and shot barnes expanders last year, they are my favorite bullet but dang near impossible to reload in the stand. I was shooting powerbelts before but not happy with performance at all, so this year i have bought the T/C shockwaves to try and they were just about as tight as the expanders. I know years ago i shot the expanders out my old knight and they went in fine. I would really like to use either barnes or T/C bullets but not if they are this hard to load im not so sure. Ive read some reviews saying this same thing, is there another sabot to use or a fix other than new bullets?

Get the Barnes Expanders and buy a pack of the Harvester Short Black Smooth Sabots. They should be around $6 for 50. They are for bullets under 300gr and will load MUCH easier. In my Optima V2 the Expanders and the MMP HPH-12 sabots that comes with them is so tight it took both hands and some grunting to load them. With the Harvester short black smooth sabots I can load them with one hand and oddly enough they hit the same place at 100yds. If for some reason the Harvester short black smooth sabots are still too tight you can get the Harvester black crush rib sabots but I would try the smooth first since you don't want it too loose.
