has anyone bought from buds? thinking of ordering my next rifle from them, because they sure beat the heck out of my local dealers.

Would rather deal with the locals if possible, then should anything happen, you can take it back to them to deal with.... Plus, you do enough business and they remember you, might help down the road as well.

If they can sell for that much less the locals could do better also. Great place to deal with IMO. Ill def do business again.

He gave me a price on a used gun one time only to find out later in the day that one of the other employees had sold it in store. He shipped me the same gun brand new in the box for the quoted price of the used one.

That being said if I buy new I buy from the place with the best price. We do have one thing going for us here in Chattanooga now though. We have a local dealer that will match Bud's prices most of the time. Matter of fact they beat Bud's on two new guns I bought last year.
How does sales tax (or lack thereof) effect this?meat hunter said:We do have one thing going for us here in Chattanooga now though. We have a local dealer that will match Bud's prices most of the time. Matter of fact they beat Bud's on two new guns I bought last year.
Correct on the no tax to tn residents and also free shipping. Just have to figure in what your ffl will charge to handle the transfer. The one I use charges $15.Wes Parrish said:How does sales tax (or lack thereof) effect this?meat hunter said:We do have one thing going for us here in Chattanooga now though. Am assuming Bud's Gun Shop doesn't charge sale tax to TN residents?
